Dear Friends of DAPI: The Delaware Adolescent Program, Inc. (DAPI) and our honorary chair, Senator Tom Carper, are proud to announce the celebration of our 40th Anniversary of service to the state of Delaware. Thousands of children ages 12-19 have found comfort, education, resources and direction within the DAPI program throughout these years and now they are successful employees, mothers and citizens. Their babies are college graduates and community leaders. They are contributors to our economy and living tributes to perseverance. Please come and celebrate this remarkable work on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at the Historic Houses of Odessa from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Tickets are $50/person. In addition to celebrating DAPI through the decades, enjoy the wonderful ambience and displays of the historic complex which will be open free of charge for our guests. A very brief program will highlight people and works from our history with special honoree Senator Margaret Rose Henry. Click the PayPal Button to Purchase Tickets for the

Teen pregnancy is a problem that affects all of society, not just the teen mother, and it’s not going away. DAPI attempts to turn a challenging situation into a positive one for the teen mothers, as well as society in general. DAPI’s mission is to ensure healthy births, secure a successful financial future for these mothers and their babies, as well as prevent future teen pregnancies. We’ve been successful for 40 years. Please join us to celebrate this accomplishment and recognize our alumni, supporters and friends. Sincerely, Lucy M. O’Donnell |
